First Time Fishing
Can you believe our kids have not been fishing? I know it may sound crazy but we are not outdoor enthusiasts like many of my family. Dave did some legal work for our neighbors across the street and they wanted to take him and a few of our kids out on their boat for a day of fishing. For scheduling reasons, Breanna and McKay got the chance to go while the rest of us had obligations in the Pioneer Day parade. They had a great time and each got their limit which was 2 fish per day per person. Doug and Jari were so accomodating and kind to put up with them all day on a small boat! We BBQ'd the fish and had the kids try them. Trout is not my favorite fish but with a little lemon pepper seasoning they were not too bad. It was a hot day, probably the hottest day of the year, but they had a great time and made lots of memories.

I should have come over for some fresh trout, especially if Manna from heaven and Mac Man caught the fish. They were BIG fish. Looks like alot of fun!!!
