This morning started out very early...4 AM to be exact. We had to get up early to catch the EuroStar train that took us under the English Channel and over to Paris. At one point on our GPS it said we were traveling over 190 mph! We had a great breakfast on the train and arrived in France in 2 1/2 hours. Our introduction to Paris was given to us by a wild taxi cabbie amongst an ant hill of mopeds, autos and pedestrians. There were a few road closures which delayed our ride 1 hour. We ended up spending 40 Euros on a taxi cab ride that should have cost 15 Euros! It was a fun cab ride and we enjoyed the sense of humor of our driver but it was CrAzY! We barely made it for our scheduled bike tour of Paris. We got to see the Eiffel Tower, the Triumphal Arch (Napolean built to return to city victorious after war), the Louve (largest art museum in the world where the Mona Lisa is), the Alexander III bridge, and many other French words and attractions that I cannot even remember or write down. After the tour we took the subways around and found Notre Dame. The bell rings just like on the Disney show. We found some DELICIOUS pastries and they were soooooooooo good! I wish I could have another one of those fresh strawberry and cream pastries. We got back on the EuroStar zipped back to London. What a cool way to travel. Now I need to go to bed because I've been up since 4 AM! Tomorrow we are going to Wimbledon during the day and we have WICKED theatre tickets tomorrow night!

Breakfast on the EuroStar. We were in 1st class on the way there and it was cheaper than the way back when we were in 2nd class!

This really doesn't do the traffic justice. It was a mess!

We have better pictures of the Eiffel on the Cameron's camera

Napoleon's Tomb is in this gold leaf roofed church

We ate crapes for lunch at a cafe...they were not that good.

This is the Louve museum where the Mona Lisa is.

Gargoyles on Notre Dame, aren't they cool?
