On Saturday we had Aubrey's birthday party with her friends. We had so much fun planning this party because it was different than any other we have done. All the girls came to our home first and then we headed over to Karalee's house for the appetizer. We made penguins out of olives and carrots and cream cheese and also had 7 layer mexican dip for our appetizer.
Karalee planned the first game called "Lap Stack". It was really fun!
Our next stop was Aime's house. The girls played the Thimble Game and we had Aubrey's favorite salad...Frog Eye!
We had our main dish at Lauren's house. We had a baked potato bar with all the fixins. After we ate we had a "mini spa". We used a salt sea scrub and lotion on their hands and then put medicated eye patches and a warm wash cloth soaked a relaxing aroma over their face as they listened to some soothing music. It was the quietest the girls were all night!
Our final stop was at my Mom's house where we had cake and ice cream and opened gifts. I was so impressed with Aubrey's friends. She is so lucky to have such good friends that build her up. While they were eating one of them started giving Aubrey compliments and then they went around the table saying such kind things. I think they all had a really good time.
Thanks Karalee, Aime, Lauren and Mom for helping me with the party and making it so special for Aubrey. Your time and efforts in decorating, cleaning and preparing the food is very appreciated! Breanna is already planning her next party...are you in?
