Aren't these rocks amazing and beautiful?!!

Taking a rest.

McKay and Dave throwing rocks down a ledge and watching them fall...a boy thing!

Here we are hiking to the "Pioneer Names" historical site. These are actual pioneer names that were written with axel grease from the wagons.

We made it! Now how do we get down??

This is as far as Hallie went up to "Pioneer Names". It was STEEP!

We took a quick family trip to St. George over Conference weekend to visit Janice and Alan and their family (Dave's sister) and Grandma and Grandpa Penrod. We enjoyed 75 degree weather all weekend. On Friday evening we went to the famous outdoor theatre, Tuacahn, and watched the musical Annie. It was fabulous!
The kids' favorite part of the trip was hiking on the petrified sand dunes up Snow Canyon. It was amazing how easy it was to walk up a steep climb. We called them "sticky rocks" because your feet wouldn't slip.
We waited in line at In-n-Out Burger for about an hour to get our food. It was crazy but worth it! The kids got to swim at Grandma and Grandpa Penrod's clubhouse swimming pool and enjoyed being with Jackie and Garrett. It was a fun weekend to spend with cousins and family that we don't see as often as we'd like.
